I
loved the format of this book: one overarching case with several
smaller cases in the middle, all of which helped develop the personality
of Mma Ramotswe and also explore some of the cultural realities of
Africa. It all came together so beautifully. The beginning was a little
slow for me, and the ending was a bit abrupt (I think I expected more of
a climax with the witch doctor...maybe more confrontation/danger?), but
overall, I loved this book and the author's style, and I will
definitely be reading the other books in the series.
